The next few posts I'll do are on the plant stakes that I've been making. Its been a really fun medium to get creative with. I cut a leaf shaped background out of clay, and then add whatever decoration I want. Glue it to a popsicle stick, and you can use it to decorate any plant's pot! They are great for dressing up foliage pots with a little color. I've coated these in a number of coats of polyacrylic to make them more durable. I haven't tested them outside, so I'm not sure how they'd hold up there.
